What People Are Saying about K9 Summit Training
Anyone who knows Hazel, knows she has such a good heart and is so eager to please. However, she was so high strung and hyper. One of the things I love most about Hazel is her goofy personality, which was partially why I was hesitant on training. I worried Hazel would lose her derpy personality. But after first hand seeing a before and after of a close friend sending her dog through training, I was confident that sending Hazel to Sierra would only benefit her! And I was right. Hazel has still maintained her derpy personality and playfulness, but she listens so incredibly well. A dog who used to only obey me when others weren’t around will now obey me when distractions are around without hesitation. Throughout her three week board and train Sierra was consistent with updates, pictures, and videos, which was so important to me (without even having to ask !). I also could clearly see Sierras love for dogs and passion for what she does - which helped ease my mind knowing Hazel was in good hands and being loved just as she is at home with us. Thank you Sierra!

Thank you to Kayla for making our dream a reality. She trained our daughter’s dog, Meka, to become Grace’s service dog. Kayla spoke with me at length about how training could allow Meka to assist Grace. Then she met with our family to discuss the best plan to accomplish our goals. Finally, Kayla worked extensively with Grace and Meka to facilitate their working relationship. Kayla worked tirelessly to make the entire process successful. I would give Kayla 10 stars. She is truly amazing. I am so thankful another of her very satisfied clients recommended her to me.

Rocky was the sweetest pup, but in his older age he started to be reactive to new people and other dogs. We decided to do the 2 week board and train with Kaitlyn and I can not express how happy we are that we invested in K9 Summit! Kaitlyn was super responsive when I wanted an update or any photos of Rocky while we was at board and train. He is usually super reactive when we have people over but now we can have guests come to our home with no issues! We're even able to go on walks without the fear of him being reactive to other pups when they walk past. We have a happy pup that is finally more confident in himself and is getting I better by the day. The best dog trainers in Chattanooga by FAR! Run, don't walk!

I don't know if I have enough words to describe how wonderful Kaitlyn is! I live out of state and found Kaitlyn and K9 Summit through my aunt who lives in the Chattanooga area. Since I am out of state, my almost 2 year old Australian Koolie and I did 3 virtual lessons with Kaitlyn and noticed a difference right away during our first virtual lesson! Kaitlyn explained everything very clearly, demonstrated with her own dog and then had me jump right in and work on things with my dog while she observed on the computer. There is no question that virtual lessons work!!! She sent us on our way with written tasks to work on before our next lesson. She also opened the door for asking questions/sending videos in between lessons for feedback which was also super helpful! Joey is smart, eager to please, driven, loving and has high energy, he had some good skills to work off of, but we needed a little more structure. My main goals were improving his leash walking, settling on place/self soothing/not barking and running to hide when people come in the house, and improving his recalls. In just a few short weeks, my dog has completely transformed, he now sits quietly on his place when people come into the house, walks in heel position like a champ and can hang out on his place while I do many tasks (including vacuuming) without a flinch! I cant wait to keep working on his skills on place and his recall! He loves to work and learn new things, and I love having the tools from Kaitlyn to help him succeed! I have so much more confidence with him out in public and am so relieved I can have people over without him barking at them and then running to hide! Kaitlyn is so much fun, easy to work with and helps set realistic goals/expectations. I loved working with her so much that I just might have to plan a road trip to Chattanooga just to do an in person session with her for fun!! Thank you Kaitlyn for everything you have done for me and Joey, we are so grateful for you!!

Auggie did the 3-week Elevation board and train package with Mirabel! Now that he’s back I feel like I have a brand new dog! Mirabel exposed Auggie to indoor and outdoor scenarios in places I was likely to take him. For example, she took him to parks where he could work on his reactivity towards others while remaining focused on commands. She also took Auggie on walks with her own dog to help him walk at home with his brother. She really listened to my concerns and incorporated them into his training. At first I was nervous about Auggie being gone, but Mirabel was fantastic with updating me! I received weekly text updates and daily videos/photos via Instagram. It felt like I was there with him, and my friends & family could go on her Instagram to keep up with him too! I can’t wait to continue this journey of training that Mirabel started and get the hang of things myself! I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer to help Auggie and I. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Mirabel to anyone on their search for a trainer!

I've written 2 reviews in my life so it should go without saying that it takes an enormous amount of compelling motivation for me to write one. K9 Summit Training was mentioned to me by a friend who had recently sent his dog to the board and train program they offered. After seeing the before and after transformation with my friend's dog, I was immediately interested in sending my chocolate lab to them for training. This was by far the best decision I have made for Ranger to date. Their programs are essentially fool proof, simple for pup owners, extremely reasonably priced and guaranteed to impress. Sierra and her team of girls are trustworthy, passionate incredibly talented and experienced and truly love working with pups. Things I had tried my best to train Ranger to do and had failed for over a year or so Sierra had done so within TWO days. Watching his progress videos and the awesome pics they send as progress updates were so cool to see, so by the time Ranger was ready to be picked up I was excited knowing some of the great new skills he had and couldn't wait to put them into action and continue training with him. Overall, if you want a happy woofer you can enjoy your time with, I can't think of anything better than having the girls at K9 Summit help you with the training. I am beyond satisfied!

Kaitlyn has been more than amazing. She loves our Lily like her own, despite how many dogs she cares for at any given time or how many she has trained. Kaitlyn is enthusiastic about how to help each and every personality of pup. After many years of begging we finally got a puppy for our children and I wanted to set a strong foundation because it is such a long term commitment! We were amazed at pickup just how well Lily listened and obeyed right off the bat and how much she had accomplished in the 3 week board and train. I think it will be worth every penny! We are so thankful for you Kaitlyn!

My husband and I were both on the fence on if we should invest in training for our shepherd mix pup, and we seriously couldn't be more glad that we decided to try K9 Summit out!! We had the amazing Kaitlyn and she was truly so educated and professional, she answered all of my questions and concerns while also making it super easy to learn the ropes to help my puppy girl out. She gave us a whole new perspective coming to dog training and I am FOREVER grateful for the lifetime of knowledge that she gave us!! If y'all are on the fence on whether or not to invest, DO IT!! The peace of mind of understanding my pup and also letting her be off leash with full trust is UNMATCHED!

Sierra went above and beyond my expectations. My puppy was causing me a lot of anxiety and I just didn’t know how to address these puppy behaviors. She is calm and teaches you how to train your dog. She is so patient and professional. Her training is totally customizable to your needs for your dog and your family. As a mother of 4, I loved how she taught our whole family how to address our new puppy. She is a wealth of information and I trust her with all my doggy needs.

Our 7 month old Bernedoodle, Jameson, has been training with Sierra since we welcomed him to our home at 12 weeks. He recently completed Sierra’s 3 week board & train program and came back a completely different puppy! Very well mannered, does well on and off leash, listens to commands and actually follows them, and no more jumping. He is a very friendly, smart, yet goofy puppy! Sierra kept me informed with videos throughout his stay and gave us an in-depth training summary to continue training at home. Sierra has become like family to us, we trust her wholeheartedly with our big pup. She is a game changer and the absolute best trainer!

I've waited a couple of months after Fitz completed the basic obedience training to see how he did. Before we took him to Sierra, Fitz, a rescue, was a sweet dog but, due to trauma he has experienced before we rescued him, had an aggressive startle response which was increasing as he got older. We were all walking around carefully and it was surprising how much we all modified our behavior around a small dog. Sierra worked with him and he has been so great since he's been home! We've tried to be consistent in following her training and he not longer snaps and growls when he's startled or when anyone approaches me. He's still the sweet dog he had always been, just more content and less startled. His changed behavior and attitude has even changed our other small dog and she's settled down and has also learned the commands. Thank you so much, Sierra!

We started off with 2 Aussies who lost their mind when we had visitors and pulled like crazy when we walked them. Thanks to Sierra we learned how to teach them, first by watching her then by practicing. They are completely different dogs now. We can have them around company even at the front door! Their pulling was pretty much dangerous to me because I have a bad knee and now they are fun to walk. We are so thankful to Sierra! She was patient with us and insightful with our dogs.

Kayla absolutely transformed our relationship with our dog, Biscuit. Biscuit is stubborn, too smart for his (and our) own good, and had no regard for rules or boundaries. We felt like we had tried everything until we found Kayla at K9 Summit. We were confident we’d need all 8 sessions to make any progress with Biscuit and felt like even then we wouldn’t be able to accomplish our goals. In the first week, we faced a few setbacks after Biscuit had a dramatic response to the training tools, but Kayla worked with the team of K9 summit trainers to develop a new plan and by week 3, we were back on track. By week 5 we had friends over for the first time since getting Biscuit and by week 6, he was fully off leash at a busy public park. We are so grateful for Kayla’s time and expertise. She often stayed beyond our hour session to answer all of our questions and make sure we understood the next steps in our training plan. We now have a solid understanding of the behaviors Biscuit displays and what we can do to help him and we go on multiple off leash adventures a week! A few months later, Biscuit is doing better than ever. We couldn’t recommend K9 Summit more!

We adopted our fourth dog Cooper in May and was immediately overwhelmed with his destructive behavior, his stubbornness to listen and literally felt that we had no control over him. Our other dogs were feeding off of his negative behaviors and my home felt like chaos. I knew some major change had to happen and several people recommend K9 Summit training group.
I knew I needed an in home training option so the trainer could see the dynamic of my home and they provided that.
Sierra and her team worked with Cooper and helped with my other dogs to create a healthy home environment.
We’re now able to have people come through our door without constant barking/jumping, we feel confident taking Cooper to public places, and have control over our expectations with his behavior. He is a completely different dog and fits into our family so well.
Sierra was so knowledgeable and educated us on each of our dogs tendencies and behaviors we didn’t realize were there. She also helped us understand how our habits can negatively impact the communication between our dogs.
She trained us and the dogs!! Consistent training literally changed our lives around and have helped us do everyday life and tasks much more easily. We’re excited to build on our training and one day be able to have our dogs go through her off leash training!

Oh my goodness! I am so impressed with Kayla and how well she handled my sweet dolly!
Dolly was a very hyper, spoiled rotten 8 month old chocolate lab! I know most of that is my fault…But I’d lost all control of her… I enrolled Dolly in the Summit package- 3 week board and train program… She came home today and I can already tell a huge difference in everything about her! She’s obedient, has great leash and off leash control, and is a pro at using the e-collar (highly recommend this investment)
You will definitely not be disappointed if you choose Kayla with K9 summit Training!
