Pet Dog Trainer
Hey y’all, I’m Camryn!
I graduated from UTC with a bachelors in Exercise Science. I always had a passion to help people so I thought physical therapy would be the right route. I loved the fact that I got to help and socialize with people but after I worked as a clinical aide, I quickly found out that I needed to pursue a career that doesn’t include being stuck in an office.
I then became a soccer coach for kids ages 2-8 and got my first dog (Delta). I always knew I would have my dogs professionally trained. My parents had our family dogs trained, as well as some more family and friends. Training is an investment, so I started to save up. Then it happened - Delta ran away from me in downtown Chattanooga. Sound like a nightmare? It was. I believe it was that very night that I signed up for training with Sierra at K9 Summit.
Fast forward to about six months after Delta graduated from the Elevation program; I had totally fallen in love with the process of training. I decided to reach out to Sierra to see if I could shadow her. I was hired as an intern and began shadowing Sierra for about three months before heading off to Alabama for the School for Dog Trainers.
At school, I worked with all kinds of different dogs and graduated as the valedictorian! I will continuously be furthering my education through research and attending seminars/shadowing programs. It is so important to continue learning and adjusting methods as needed!
I love what I do. I get to change the lives of people AND dogs for the better! I am so thankful that I was able to be a client before a dog trainer - I got to be where YOU are! It is such an honor that my clients trust me their furbaby/family member. I promise to love and teach them like they’re my own! I am so blessed that I get to continue my passion by helping change families (and pups) lives for the better. Can’t wait to meet you!
